Thermal Cookers – Save Energy and Healthier Slow Cooked Food

I’ve been using the Nissan thermal cooker on the left for 10 years. (Yes, the same one all that time!) I love it for cooking grains: the basic recipe is to soak the grain (rice, quinoa, millet, oats) overnight and then cook them in the stainless steel sleeve the next morning. Just bring it to a boil and then stick it into the thermal cooker. Depending on the grain, you’ll have delicious, soft and nutritious (because of the lower cooking temperature) grains in 20 minutes to 2 hours. I’ve also heard good things about the Zojirushi cooker on the right, but have no personal experience with it.
